Idaho Winter Couples Session with Molly and Diego

Molly and Diego’s Idaho winter couples session was at Albani Cove in Northern Idaho. Albani Cove is one of my favorite locations to visit. Year round it offers stunning views and an intimate feel. Perfect for romantic couples or engagement photos.

Meeting Molly & Diego

I chatted with Molly over Instagram DM’s after participating in a giveaway I hosted there. They really wanted more professional photos and Molly thought what better than to have a snowball fight! Unfortunately, this winter season has been a little less snow covered. Regardless, we embraced the cold and still were all laughs the entire time.

We hiked in a bit to the location which warmed us up. Along the way we chatted about their story and just random conversations. I already felt like they were long time friends.

During the shoot I asked how they met. Diego looked at Molly and she smiled. They actually went to the same high school without realizing it. Diego had an eye patch that he already felt so embarrassed about. Even worse, a girl passed him in the hall and said “cool I want to be a pirate too”.

Later as they started dating, this conversation came up. Molly thought for a moment and than said “um, that was me”! They both laughed! To think you both went to the same school, probably passed one another on the daily. Years later you find one another and share this funny story.
