The best photographs come from being fully present, not performing for the camera. This is why I take on a limited number of weddings each year across Spokane and the Pacific Northwest for couples who want their day documented honestly, creatively, and exactly as it unfolds.

I photograph your day as it naturally unfolds—without over-directing or interrupting what’s real. I’ll gently guide when needed, but for the most part, I’m observing, anticipating, and preserving moments as they happen. The in-between, the quiet, the unplanned… that’s where the meaning lives.

Even better. Your wedding doesn’t need to follow a formula to be worth documenting. Backyard dinners, courthouse vows, packed dance floors, quiet celebrations, unconventional venues — I’m there for whatever feels like you. I’m less interested in what your wedding is supposed to look like and more interested in documenting what it actually felt like.

Not completely. Documentary doesn’t mean I disappear into a corner and never say a word. I’ll guide you when it’s helpful, organize family photos, work with good light when we can, and then give the real moments room to happen.
