Anna first reached out to me via Instagram about having an Anniversary session and Farragut State Park in Athol, Idaho was the perfect place to tell their love story. Matt never had professional photos taken and Anna knew this would be a great opportunity to have these precious moments captured of them. When finding a place to take their photos I told them about Farragut State Park. They were already very familiar with this location and very excited.
This 4,000 acre park was once a World War II Naval Base and now provides ample opportunities for families and photography alike. Whether visiting for the day, camping or staying at one of the 10 cabins, Farragut State Park is a beautiful place to enjoy many fun activities. I had been to this park once before and knew that it was a place that provided stunning landscapes and vast mountain views.
“BLAIR! I am absolutely over the moon with joy! You did an amazing job capturing our love for each other!”
I most recently started practicing with film photography and Anna and Matt were more than thrilled to have me test out some film for their love story. Some came out and some didn’t, but the way I capture stories through images are those that are imperfect and share in the reality of life and love.
